  1. I’ve been thinking about making this but was scared of ruining my precious
dates so thank you for taking one for the team lol!

  2. I was looking at this the other day, but had to wonder… does it dissolve
in tea? Or would you have to strain it?

    • +Ty's Conscious Kitchen Great Stuff! I picked up some Agave yesterday,
never tried it before, its quite rare here but it’s nice! Also, loving the
      blog you guys have!

    • +Sonia Keels Store on the shelf in an air tight container. My latest batch
has been stored about a week, but I usually use it sooner than that. It may
      last longer.

  3. I failed miserably at this one. I will try again. Mine burned before 15
minutes even hit… but I have an electric stove though. So I might wanna
take that into consideration. I brought some more, but right now I’m not
ready to try again. Hopefully I will soon though. haha!

    • Buy a food dehydrator. they are cheap. and it works perfectly every time…
I dont understand why people think there oven can do everything…..
You want to remove moisture from the dates, not cook it.

    • probably because they already have access to an oven. Not everyone wants to
just run out and buy a $100 food dehydrator when they have oven sitting
      right there that’s good enough

  4. Can you still blend them if their not all the way hard and make sugar? I
baked them twice and left them out but their still kind of soft

  5. does it melt when used in tea? or will it get back sticky and thick? Can I
make coconut sugar the same way?

  6. Thanks so much for this! Date sugar is so expensive here in the UK; £10+
    per 500 grams!

I’ll definitely be trying this recipe instead.

  7. thank you! also have youngest of the brand Ezekiel? the have all grain
products like bread and waffles. can those be eaten?
